Appointed by the contractor to provide contract management and advice, and M&E Project Co-ordination services, Evolution5 has supported the delivery of a large, bespoke country house set deep in the English countryside.
An exciting project featuring stunning design elements and innovative technology, this wholly bespoke country house easily earns the status of the most unique residential construction project the team have worked on, with virtually every aspect being totally bespoke.
The clients’ requirement for an ultra high-end finish has required the contractor to engage some of the most highly skilled professionals and sub-contractors in the country. From specialist visual concrete form-work to bespoke and individual joinery, the design incorporates the finest level of detail throughout.
The house has been built on the site of an old farmhouse and associated buildings within a plot of approximately 1.8 acres. Many of the original, historic features were retained and are being incorporated into the new building by the clients. With a GIFA of 1325m2 the house boasts seven bedrooms, a two storey atrium with glass roof and is completed with a luxury swimming pool. This property encompasses all the beauty of a modern building whilst sitting comfortably in its rural surroundings.
Designed by a London based architect, managing the information flow between all parties has been a sizeable challenge as the design has been evolving throughout the duration of the build which in turn affects the programming of the project.
