Jamie Barrett is the owner and Business Development Director of Evolution5. Before starting Evolution5 in 2007, Jamie worked for Mansell Construction, Carillion Building and Tarmac Construction.
Jamie is a Chartered Project Management Surveyor with over 20 years of experience working in the construction industry. A positive and enthusiastic leader, Jamie’s ‘can do’ attitude resonates throughout the team.
As a Trustee of the Chartered Institute of Building who has been extensively involved at both local and national levels of the organisation, Jamie is a well-known advocate for the construction industry. He strives to drive up standards while improving the industry’s perception. Jamie is also an active member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Association for Project Management.
Jamie’s love of project management and passion for construction are evident in everything he does. He has worked on various projects for private and public authority clients in the education, health, industrial, commercial, defence, and residential sectors and is highly sought after by our clients.
Outside of work, Jamie is a huge Southampton FC supporter and enjoys most sports, especially golf and motorsports.
