A Summer Placement

It’s been a while since we posted an update from one of the team. Today we hear from Megan who joined us for the summer during her Uni break.

“I am just coming towards the end of my summer placement at Evolution5. Over the last three months I have taken on the new Administrative Assistant post within the company. The main purpose of my role was to assist the Strategic Business Development Manager and to take on various general administrative tasks that needed completing. My responsibilities included taking the initial telephone enquiries, supporting the Evolution 5 team wherever necessary, carrying out research, collecting data and taking minutes. I have also in this process had the opportunity to develop my own IT skills. Whilst at the company I have gained substantial office experience which will be hugely beneficial when I have completed my degree and start a full-time job.

I have also developed more personal skills, including confidence, initiative, time-management, team-work and organisational skills. The time I have spent at Evolution 5 will be extremely beneficial to my future working life.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the company, both due to the lovely team I have had the opportunity to work with and the job itself. This role has challenged me and allowed me to develop as a person and I therefore have to thank the brilliant team at Evolution5 for providing me with this fantastic opportunity over the summer.”
