All hail the arrival of the new football season!

It’s been mentioned before that the E5 team love sport so the start of the new football season is a welcome arrival in the office. Evolution5 are proud to sponsor local team Blackfield & Langley FC who play in the Sydenhams (Wessex) Football League.

On Saturday 16 August, Blackfield & Langley travelled to Bristol to meet Toolstation Western Football League side, Bitton AFC, at their extremely picturesque setting in the South Gloucester countryside. With great hospitality from the host team, B&L had a strong start and went ahead early through Jake Rowley.

It was an interesting game, including an own goal for each team, several yellow cards and 2 disallowed goals for the visitors. It eventually ended in a 2-1 win for Blackfield & Langley. All typically good FA Cup fare really!

Their reward is a home tie in the Preliminary Round against Highworth Town on Saturday 30 August at their ground at Gang Warily.
