CIOB Hampshire Novus Golf Day

On 14th September 2012 the Hampshire Novus help their second annual golf day at Meon Valley Golf Club, Southampton. The event returned for its second annual event, with a good attendance of competitors ranging from experienced golfers to complete novices. The day started with a networking breakfast and introduction to the day before warm ups on the driving range commenced.

It was a highly enjoyable day out for all involved, with plenty of laughs and excitement throughout the course. Several prizes were up for grabs including a set of golf clubs top of the range BMW car as well as trophies for the winners of the day giving an extra spark to the competition.

The overall winner was on the day was Dominic Satterley. Dominic was also part of the overall winning team alongside Andrew Browning and Allun Lloyd. Other winners included Gerry Raleigh with the longest drive, Phil Clarke won the nearest to the pin contest and Zac House collected the straightest drive award.

Hampshire Novus Chairman Josh Trimmer said “This was a really successful day, it has been a great turnout and fantastic to keep the event running for its second year, we will certainly be holding a third in 2013”
