Evolution5 has been appointed by a private client, as Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyor to work on a new high-quality home in Hampshire.

Located in a beautiful village and civil parish in the Hampshire countryside, the new dwelling is set within the grounds of an existing bungalow, which is to be part demolished and part retained as an annex.

The Client’s aim is to create a comfortable family home with contemporary features whilst allowing the building to subtly integrate into its surroundings. As privacy is important within a family home, the design creates a neutral relationship between large open living areas and private spaces. The dwelling will place pleasantly with the setting and respect the rural location.

Evolution5 will apply its expertise in providing project and cost management to ensure that the construction stage is monitored and controlled to a successful outcome. We will perform an important role on the project, not just in the administration of the contract, but also in using our experience to identify and manage risk, foresee planning and scheduling issues and work with the building contractor (www.edgecombes.co.uk) to address these, cost and cashflow management, monitoring planned v actual progress, ensuring securities are in place for materials off-site or payments made in advance, and regular reporting to the Client to ensure they are fully informed of all important matters affecting their home.

The project has recently commenced and is expected to complete in Spring 2022.

Evolution5 is working on several one-off residential houses for clients and welcome enquiries from new clients and architects requiring project management, quantity surveying, construction management or CDM services.
