Evolution5 appointed on Compass School Southwark, Bermondsey

Evolution5 has been appointed by Noviun Architects with their client ISG, as CDM Principal Designer to work on a new learning and sports facilities building at Compass School Southwark.

Located on Drummond Road near Bermondsey Station, the state-of the-art school will provide learning and sports spaces over six floors, including landscaped roof space.

The new school is an integral part of the Grosvenor Britain & Ireland’s masterplan for the area, which proposes to transform the neighbourhood into a vibrant modern community by opening up and stitching a much-loved historic site back into Bermondsey. 

Leading the way in modern school design, the new facilities are aesthetically pleasing and create an inspiring place for teachers to work and pupils to learn and succeed.

Evolution5 will apply its expertise in providing health and safety advice and principal designer services to ensure the pre-construction stage and design phases of the construction stage are controlled and managed. We perform an important role within the project team, influencing and controlling how risk to Health and Safety are managed and monitored.

Compass School Southwark is the third school project Evolution5 is providing CDM Principal Designer services for Noviun Architects.

The School is expected to commence on site early summer 2021 and complete for September 2023.  The main client is the Department for Education (DfE).
