17 Carlton Crescent is protected by a Grade 2 listing and is located within a conservation areas in the heart of Southampton. The crescent comprises rows of terrace houses and three-storey villas, which were converted to offices in 20th century. The project involved restoring the buildings back to their original residential use, creating luxury apartments and a detached new building with car parking and green amenity space. Many of the original features were retained or restored to maintain the character of these 19th century buildings.
Whilst providing contract administration services for this project, our lead surveyor was proactive in producing contract information, compiling the contract and dealing with challenging scope issues within a few days of our appointment, meaning the project started on time with no delays.
