As a team of sports fans, supporting a local club was an opportunity we couldn’t wait to take up.
If you’re unfamiliar with Langley Manor Cricket Club, they are based on the edge of the New Forest in Ashurst. The well-known club has three senior men’s league cricket teams, a Sunday friendly team, a midweek border league team, ladies softball team and an outstanding junior cricket provision taking players from under 9’s through to under 15’s.
In addition, the club runs an ECB initiative programme called Allstars, which is aimed at getting children aged 4-8 involved in playing cricket.
