Evolution5 Quinquennial Surveys

Quinquennial inspections, also known as quinquennial surveys or quinquennial reports, are required to ensure that historic, ecclesiastical properties are regularly reviewed and that repairs and maintenance are planned.

Historic buildings deteriorate in a different way to modern buildings and our expert surveyors ensure that real deterioration and damage is not confused with superficial ageing process of a building.

The buildings you are responsible for play an important role in the lives of the communities who use them. As the person responsible for quinquennial surveys of the estates in your diocese, you know how vital it is to engage trusted professionals to carry out the surveys on your behalf. By shaping our service around your needs, we are always honest, reliable and seek to exceed your expectations.

Our quinquennial survey service reviews all aspects of the buildings’ fabric, with the intention of identifying problems that have developed or worsened since the previous inspection.

When you engage our services you will be appointed a surveyor who is expereinced in delivering quinquennial reports. We use an assessment approach that is familiar to most dioceses and repairs are categorised on a scale from A to E according to its urgency.

Following the survey, you will receive a full report which establishes priorities and costs for repair to help you manage the preservation of each building. This is turn helps you accurately plan and schedule future maintenance works. We know you don’t need pages of technical jargon and that’s why our reports are clearly written to enable diocese and parish members to easily interpret the information.

“The service provided by Evolution5 was excellent and we would not hesitate to use them again and can highly recommend their service.”
