Brett has been in the carpentry and construction industry since leaving school in 1978. He is a time served carpenter working for a company specialising in marine fit outs, working on very high-end projects for Cunard and P&O in around the world.
In 1995 he joined a company that specialised in bank refurbishment, garden centres and night clubs adding further skills and experience. Brett spent over 20 years running these projects as a Senior Site Manager.
Brett later moved into construction working on retail projects for companies including Lidl, Co-Op, Ikea and B&Q before moving into the petrochemical industry working at Fawley oil refinery.
During his extensive career, Brett has also built luxury house and flats from the ground upwards and managed projects for Langs Jewellers in West Quay.
His hobbies include collecting and refurbishing Raleigh Chopper bicycles. He currently owns 14 of them.
Qualifications: NPORS, ESS Safe Force, CSCS, S.P.A, PAL, CITB, P.SMA, First Aid
